On the morning of August 1st, 2009 I left my job only to walk out side to get a glimpse of one of the best looking shelf clouds that I have ever seen to pass over my local area. It was about 7:55am when I shot this. I sound like a retard and overly excited due to the fact that I haven't had a decent storm for over a month and SDS ( deprivation syndrome) was starting to really take hold of my mind.
SDS is what storm chasers get during the off season or during extended periods of calm weather where we start to get anxious and desperate for some severe weather and really nerdy at goofy at the site of even a garden shower with one bolt of lightning.
